TITLE: Building Foreman - Structures

PURPOSE: The role of the Structures Foreman is to control and supervise
structural building works and/or external works

KEY OBJECTIVES:

• To drive the project forward whilst ensuring quality
  workmanship and timely completion
• To closely supervise the work of direct labour, local
  tradesmen and subcontractors where skill may be limited
• To be aware of the budgetary restraints of the project
• To lead and motivate the site labour force
• To liaise effectively with sub contractors and suppliers
• To co-ordinate material requirements with the Production Manager

REPORTS TO: Construction Manager

RESPONSIBLE FOR: General Operatives and sub contractors

REQUIREMENTS: Age - 30+

Qualifications - from trade background with strong motivational and communication skills essential.
Minimum 10 years relevant "hands on" supervisory experience
