Job Specification

TITLE: Surveyor

PURPOSE: The role of the Surveyor is to ensure that all site, line and level control
points are in place to monitor the works as they proceed ensuring dimensional accuracy.

KEY OBJECTIVES:

• To understand and interpret the drawings and specifications
• To accurately use setting out instrumentation
• To provide engineering expertise and support to the project team
• To monitor works in progress
• To supervise groundworks and utility diversion and construction works

REPORTS TO: Senior Engineer/Project Manager

RESPONSIBLE FOR:General Operatives and sub contractors

REQUIREMENTS: Age - 25+
Qualifications - Preferably degree qualified, HND or HNC candidates should also apply
Experience - at least 5 years in surveying
